Whitby, Scarborough and Ryedale DAG seeks to enable disabled people to live as independently as possible, making informed choices through access to services & information
Office opening hours are 9am-5pm, Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays; 9am-4.30pm Fridays. The office and mobility equipment hire service are closed on Wednesdays.
Mobility equipment hire Saturdays by prior arrangement only and subject to availability of volunteers.
Getting out on the DAG trips has helped to give me the confidence and self-esteem to join other local groups together with my new found friends. The DAG trips are a valuable resource as it means that I am able to do my shopping for myself.
Whitby DAG can give confidential benefit advice over the telephone or face to face at our Whitby office. We can also make home visits in Whitby and District.
We have self-propelled wheelchairs, manual push wheelchairs, all-terrain/ beach wheelchairs and 4-wheeler mobility scooters available to hire.

Whitby DAG operates an annual membership scheme which includes a monthly newsletter.
Our team of volunteers, many of whom are disabled people, assist the staff team by carrying out a wide range of tasks
Whitby DAG operates a small fleet of Minibuses which we use for a variety of purposes.
