DAG - office opening hours

DAG office hours for all enquiries are Monday, Tuesday,& Thursday 9am-5pm;  Friday, 9am -4.30pm. Closed on Wednesdays. Closed Weekends,  Bank Holidays, Regatta Monday (August), and between Christmas and New Year.

Our phone number is 01947 821001. From time to time, we may need to put the answerphone on, temporarily, during office hours. Please make sure you leave a message, including your name and contact telephone number. We will get back to you. Alternatively you can send an e-mail to info@whitbydag.org.uk

The mobility equipment hire service is now based at Whitby Library, Windsor Terrace, Whitby, YO21 1ET. Staff and volunteers will be at our desk in the library on Mondays and Fridays 10am to 4pm, Tuesday's and Thursday's, 10am-1pm, closed Wednesdays.

Outside these hours contact the DAG office directly and we can arrange for someone to meet you at the library. Mobility scooters and wheelchairs can be collected and returned during office hours. Subjects availability of staff and volunteers, we will endeavour to meet customers in the town centre by the harbourside, at the railway station, bus station or coach stop, if requested.

We are sorry but until further notice there will be no weekend hire service available unless the scooter or wheelchair can be delivered or collected on the Friday and returned on the Monday. Mobility equipment can no longer be collected from or returned to the Whitby Tourist Information Centre. Deliveries and collections for bank holidays by prior arrangement only and subject to the availability of staff and volunteers.
